If you are growing medicinal flowers of any kind my somewhat short experience and research so far points bat guano as pretty much irreplaceabe in terms of nutrients. I have no time to micromanage soil deficiencies. What does my plant needs? Nitrogen? Phosphorus? Sulphur, calcium, VANADIUM??? I have no idea. But I know my leaves are yellowing and my leaves are dropping and bat guano has it all. Forget about hydroponics mineral solution engineering applied to soil and get yourself this. However you are growing, you can apply to soil or make organic tea (add molasses) and your plants will be happy the next day at the most. Of course keep your pHs in check. Happy growing.
