Slices meat thinly
Does the job nicely. Thin sliced beef! A little tricky to clean but worth it.

Nice performance , easy to use, be patient to clean
It’s easy to setup with the clear instruction on the manual. For raw meat, it’s best to cut in its half frozen state although the manual said don’t cut any frozen things.Using speed 3 and it’s performing well, I will say two hands are enough to well control it.Only pain is to clean it, the blade is easy to clean but the gap between two folding parts… took me five minutes. All in all did its job well with this price

Easy to use
Great little slices,no more hacking at that joint of meat, thick or thin it does the job and gives you loads of slices, enough for sandwiches later. You have to clean it after use but it’s still a time saver.

Great!
Purchased this because I like thin(ish) slices of meat and I can’t get that with my electric knife. I’ve got a few joints of meat to slice up for the Christmas period so thought it would make life easier! It works! Can adjust the thickness easily with the dial. Easy to remove the blade carefully to clean with a brush (it’s very sharp)! Easy to clean everything. Will be buying joints of meat when they’re on offer now rather than buying slices from the deli or supermarket at stupid prices!Good price for this useful piece of equipment.

safety
Great if you are left handed! To operate you have to keep your finger on the power switch. As soon as you lift it the slicer stops-I accept it is a safety design.. The trouble is-I am right handed and use that hand to push the slicer through-so I have to cross my hands over to try and keep the switch on whilst slicing. I had to get my husband to operate the slicer whilst I held the power button on. If anyone has any tips on using it safely on my own, I would be grateful. The slicer is good, although there is no catch plate for the cut off slices. A lot of bits accumulate at the bottom of the blade and it is fiddly to clean. Plus points are that it is fairly easy to operate, cuts slices to the thickness you want and folds away into a small space

Good slicer
Easy to use and clean so it does a good job. Great for cutting ham etc without attacking your fingers. Replaces an older one which lasted for 20 years or so!

1st one , Faulty product. 2nd one, did the job, just!!
Bought this. Only 1 star at present, would like to give 0 stars as item didn’t work. Sending it back but have to pay return postage and might not get postage back as the company states that they only refund postage if it’s their fault. Not ideal. Had to order another one. Second one arrived, bought to slice up Serrano ham from Christmas, not impressed. Blade doesn’t spin fast enough for a clean thin cut, had to cut thicker than I wanted, bits of meat did get dragged behind blade if left at the back when cutting another slice, so you have to move each slice from the back before cutting another, bits of meat were behind blade which when blade was removed there was meat residue in the plastic cog teeth on the back of the blade. Had to clean it often while slicing Serrano. Very fiddly to clean nooks a crannies on the machine itself, I used cocktail sticks to flick bits of meat out. Very difficult to get a cloth in the gaps to give it a good clean.I think it may be ok to slice firmer meat, beef, gammon etc and whole loaves.Did the job, just!!

Should have brought one sooner!
Wow after years of craving up all types of meats which seems to take ages and makes your arms ache, this year we decided to buy an electric slicer and what a god send, it made slicing a whole ham so easy with all slices the same size and no waste, cutting the turkey which was falling apart if trying to cut with a knife was always a pain but using the slicer it was amazing how much easier it was and again loads more slices due to the constant thickness of each slice. Our only regret was not buying one years ago! Excellent value for money.
