Yes, Steve. I'd say the smaller one is pretty much half the size of the 19-oz. I get 3 dinners out of the small one, and 6 from the large.

Look good somewhere it has date ,look on bottom it is hard to see, but if three years old I would throw it away

I would not throw it away because I have kept them just as long as you and they are wonderful. As a matter of fact, am using an old one to make a paella this coming Tuesday.
