Want accurate, concise human voices for your center channel, this does that !
I have two systems. A large McIntosh 9.2 system for my serious listening, movies, BluRay live concerts, etc. That system comes in at just a little under $85,000 including speakers.*My day system is a Marantz 7705 flagship Pre-amp, paired with the Marantz 7055, 5 channel surround amp using MIT interconnects. I use just 3 channels for my day system, two Kilpsch Heresy's for main L&R and this Klipsch R-52C center channel. Speakers are wired using 256 strand, pure OFC 10 ga wire with gold plated banana plug terminations. The subwoofer in the day system is the McIntosh MT-2, dual 12" giant 100 pound passive sub, 4 Ohm, hooked to a 300W plate amp made for subs only, and made for 4 Ohm speakers/subs.First thing one notices is this little center channel speaker is HEAVY, and clearly well constructed! For those familiar with specs, this speaker is efficient and easy for an amp to run. All Klipsch products can get loud yet remain clear - though this is far from my top priority. But, presenting an easy load to your amp to run is a win win. The Heresy's also present a very manageable load to an amp, so all 3 hooked to my day system is not a rough load to handle as most 4 Ohm speakers WILL be. Always try to match speakers impedance hooked to one surround amp. Other words, keep all of them 8 Ohm or 6 Ohm - even if different brands. FEW amps will run 4 Ohm speakers well, (cheap amps might even struggle with 6 Ohm speakers at volume) or long, so be careful when buying speakers. This center channel provided exactly what I'd hoped as it does a good job with human voice articulation and clarity. If you feed it a quality signal, you get a quality result. I do have a spare Pioneer Elite disc player with excellent audio quality for CD's hooked to this system for casual listening while cleaning house, working on projects, and non-critical listening. While this modest center channel is excellent for voices, movies, TV shows, non-critical sit down listening sessions - especially after fine tuning the signals reaching it via the VERY adjustable Marantz 7705 Pre, it's performance on audio while entirely listenable, fits into it's price range niche. For most if not all non-audiophiles this center channel would be a very nice addition to their system for years of enjoyment. It does not however, have the depth, width, sound stage to hear fine details such as a performer taking a barely audible quiet breath while singing on a well recorded SACD as more expensive units might. Or present a virtual "being there" sense of space more expensive models might - and some do. That said, to step up to "being there" sound staging, depth, space, width and presence - you ARE going to HAVE to spend at least likely triple - or more .......... to attain that level of engineering and delicacy of sound that entails. In summary, for 90% of the people reading this, for modest yet capable systems hooked to this Klipsch, you will have made an excellent purchase and enjoy it for many years. If you are younger and want LOUD rock shows, this speaker will do that, and survive to do it again, and again. Clean, precise, clear audio signals is not what generally harms a speakers components, dirty or distorted signals do.For the NEW price of $149 (I just paid $179 a month ago), you honestly could not go wrong provided you don't think you are buying a $1,400 Dyneaudio center channel.

Excellent center channel
Couldn't ask for a better center channel speaker for my system. If you have a medium to large Surround/ATMOS stereo system for home theater, this is an excellent choice for a center speaker. Excellent tone; clear sound for voices (which mostly come through the center channel). Excellent price. My previous center channel was a Pioneer. I thought it was very good, but there were times where it was difficult to make out dialog in movies. I had to turn up the volume too much. I decided to check this Klipsch center speaker out after much research. This speaker is awesome. Dialog is clear and crisp. Music and movies are much more enjoyable now. Definitely recommend. Especially for the price.

Good center speaker.
Replace the old KLH center speaker that was shrill sounding. This helped a lot with my entry level Sony 5.1 receiver that didn't have tone adjustment for the center speaker. Though I still had to add a small subwoofer to the center speaker to get the proper sound...
