Works as should. Fit perfect. Lower noise level than our old one. Easy install. Alot more powerful than our other one. We are definitely satisfied.

I took out an old Air King heater and installed this in the ceiling of my small Jack & Jill bathroom. It was almost a perfect fit. I only had to increase the opening in the ceiling by about ¼” on 2 sides, and that’s easier than making it smaller. A 9 ⅞” x 9 ⅞” hole is big enough. To mount the fan I added two strips of wood in the ceiling for something to screw into and used longer screws than the ones provided – those were barely long enough to go through the drywall. The fan, housing, and grill are all plastic. That makes it lightweight, but I’m not sure how durable it will be. I like that there’s a built-in backdraft damper, and the 4” duct size is common. So, it was easy to find a compatible exterior vent. It’s also nice that the kit came with flexible duct and metallic tape. I used it, but I went back and wrapped the duct in insulation. Considering the time and money I spent on that, I probably should have just bought some insulated flex duct. For the electrical, I installed a small junction box, and I used wire nuts instead of the quick connectors. Other fans I’ve installed have had built-in junction boxes, which I would have preferred. In use, I’m completely satisfied with the noise level and amount of air moved.

Works well and so quiet. Very easy to install and bright. Definitely buying again for my other bathroom.

Not so quiet!

Not recommended. Everything is wrong about this fan. It screws into the Sheetrock causing the Sheetrock to vibrate and make noise. The wires coming off the fan are thin and weak. The wire terminals should go into a box for code and fire protection but the wires just hang out in the attic exposed. The vent tube size is non standard and not long enough. The vent hole size is non standard. Finally the air coming out of the fan is weak, definitely not what I expected. So i basically went from a builders grade noisy fan to a worse than builders grade fan. Bought two returning one and now I have to go out and buy materials to bring the installation up to code.

Nice , easy to install fan , Design to be installed in a drywall or dropped ceiling . I recommend you to install some wood backing to screw the fan to. You will need larger screws than the ones provided Fairly quiet and has worked well for a few weeks now. If you mount the fan on some thin foam tape it will vibrate far less and make it quieter The fan comes with a back damper and some aluminum tubing.as for noise I don't think it is noisier that others available at the big box retailers.It comes with easy connector to connect to but we installed it using a junction box as it would have been in contact with the insulation. Not a deal breaker . Ours was fan only with no light ,
