I want to make this review as honest as possible, as a super curly haired girl. I did give it 5 stars because it does what its designed to do, whether or not it's *perfect* or ideal. I bought this because I wanted something I could simply run through clean, dry hair on a whim for a quick style, with the idea it wouldn't take super long. I have shoulder length hair, and from start to finish it takes me roughly 20-25 minutes, so it does save me a lot of time when styling. It actually gets super hot, too, when comparing it to my flat iron.Would I say I can achieve the style I desire using *just* this product? No, I do still have to use my flat iron to get the baby hairs and my roots in certain places Plus, I live in a high humid environment, so using this tool by itself on naturally curly hair just doesn't guarantee a hold. As a curly girl, it is what it is. But when I take the little extra time to blow dry my hair (straight), then use this product, it does give me some pretty amazing results! My hair is soft and super bouncy, plus I can use it to either straighten or create big, loose curls (this may take some patience and practice to get it).Overall, for the price, it's still holding up after a few months - which is good! I will say, however, if you use a ton of product, be sure to wipe the plate every now and then because product does build up there over time.

I love this hair tool!It’s super easy to use and it heats up pretty quickly. I usually will go over sections of my hair a few times to get the style I’m looking for but over all it had made a blow out look very easy and fast! If you’re looking for a hair styling tool that you can give volume, a little curl, and smooth feel this is the tool for you! It’s also super light to hold. 😊

This thermal brush is a game changer! I have thick, coarse, curly hair, and it handled it like a pro. It smoothed out all the frizz and left my hair sleek, shiny, and straight with minimal effort. Heats up quickly and glides through easily without snagging. Let my hair damp dry, passed the blower on the roots only then let this tool do its magic. I was in awe! Finally found a tool that actually works on my hair type—highly recommend!

For me this worked so much faster than my other heat styling tools. It immediately smoothed my wavy frizzy hair and I was able to do a nice blowout for myself that lasted multiple days with no touchups!

I have very coarse thick hair. I’ve been straightening it for the past 30 years and have tried almost every product out there.Pros: works in my AC outlet in my Yukon…so great for touch ups on the go!Cons: does not get hot enough to straighten my hair to the level I like it (shiny and very, very straight).The buttons to change the heat setting are in the way so constantly changing settings as I’m trying to use which is annoying.Overall this is good for touch ups but that’s about it. The girls you see in the videos on social media might have thick frizzy hair BUT they do not have very course hair. They have fine hair. That’s why this product works so well for them. It’s very deceiving.

I have coarse and thick hair so the effect was not as great as the girl with fine hair, but I am still overall content with the result. The only thing that bothers me is that the buttons are too easy to get switched during the process because it is in the way.

I got this tool 10 minutes ago. And have already finished my hair. So if that doesn't tell you how easy it is to use, I'm not sure what will. I have thick, wavy (2b/2c) hair that is bleached and prone to frizz. I recently cut off significant length, to my shoulders. I have tried blowouts at home and always fail. So I bit the bullet and ordered this. I'm really pleased with it. With a spray on heat protectant and some alligator clips, I was able to easily smooth out my day 2 frizz. I like this hot tool, but have to knock off a star because I hate where the buttons are at. I’m constantly clicking the heat setting button (and therefore changing it). It’s right where my thumb lands when using the tool. Otherwise it makes my hair soft and smooth and am able to get a nice flip at the end.
