THE ITEMThe recommended size for my body weight was a double size, however this sold out. my bed is a king and adult can add an extra few pounds but i went for the king even though i was slightly worried. the item came 4 days early and came packaged nicely and came in a white bag with handles. The colour is the super cute like the picture and it is soft and good quality. It is really heavy so i feel like its an arm workout every time i pick it up and move it but thats expected. It is hard to lift but its easier to drag but its not that bag of a deal since the weight is the point of the product.THE EXPERIENCEso when i first laid under the blanket it was such a strange (in a good way) experience. The weight was nice and relaxing and it felt really good on my body. I have slept with it on top of me and on top of my quilt too. Surprisingly, it doesn't get too warm and stuffy just under the blanket so its fine during the hot summer. I feel like i get use to the weight, but i do feel it helps calm my body and anxiety. It can get quite annoying when i wake up and i wanna take it off so i just end up kicking it to the bottom of my bed. The beads are unnoticeable and they evenly fit to your body shape.MY WORRYi was worried if this was dangerous to sleep with but i think it may just be unsafe for young children. please do your research. The description also says they are made from micro-beads made from glass so i was scared to sit on the blanket and break the glass/damage but i think the beads are too small to break.OVERALLI feel like this is a great blanket to ease anxiety and maybe relax you at night time. as some blankets are like £100 this is worth the money and hopefully it lasts.

I have one myself (8kg) which has really helped with the quality of my sleep so I bought this one as a birthday present for my dad who also struggles to sleep.The fabric is lovely and smooth, and the weight is evenly distributed across the blanket. The size is perfect to fit into a single duvet cover too so I'm not worried about it being impossible to wash. The stitching/finishing is top-notch too.It really does help with sleep/relaxation and is warm enough that I don't need additional blankets on top. Once under the blanket you can feel the calm setting over you and its much easier to drift off. The blanket is the perfect weight for a single sleeper, and because its sectioned the weight is evenly distributed.Overall I would 100% recommend this blanket for anyone who struggles with anxiety or falling asleep. 5*

Wondered whether I should take the leap or not on a weighted blanket so I opted for this one as it seemed weighty but not too pricy. I love it so much. I get such quality sleep with it, it's soothing and comfortable, and the fabric is soft. I tend to put a duvet cover over it and wash that, rather than wash the blanket itself.I bought one for each of my friends for Christmas because I knew they'd agree with me, and they all agree it's the best present I've bought them.

I purchased this as it was a bargain price. I had been recommended this as I do not sleep well. This is amazing, it is so soft and excellent quality. I will definitely purchase more when the price is right. My friends purchased it too and they have recommended to their friends - and so it goes on.

Comfort to use and good quality. Used this size as I am 8st 9lb and weight is comfortable. Very warm too so ideal for extra warmth in colder temperatures. Bought for managing restless sleep but was still able to move about comfortably 😴

good quality for money, lovely colour and great for purpose- would prefer if this came in a bag to store. very comforting would highly recommend for autistic individuals great for overstimulation! and not a bad smell either, would purchase again :)

This is everything that you'd ask for from a weighted blanket. It's not necessarily the most exquisite fabric but it doesn't aggravate my eczema either so I'm super happy.The main benefit, however, is that it's a FANTASTIC antidote to my ADD burnouts. When the world is too much, and you're absolutely exhausted and socially and mentally and physically drained and even lying down isn't giving you that "stimming" relief... This'll do it. So if you're doubting, I would say don't... (Oh and get the larger size if you want to feel completely soaked up by it and compressed into the ground and pushed into the submission of the anti-anxiety gods.WARNING: waking up and getting up early in the morning with this blanket still on you is very hard, if not impossible. I would remove it before you sleep just as a tip.
