No need to keep looking for an ideal insole.
I'm always on the hunt for the ideal insole replacements and have a shoebox full of "also rans" to prove it. I was a little skeptical, but these do appear to use a carbon fiber arch and live up to that promise in terms of firm yet flexible support. The use of carbon fiber yields a more compact, lighter yet stronger insole that will even fit shoes with tight toe boxes. I wear high end, brand name, walking shoes in my job where I average about 13K steps per shift. My feet used to hurt and cramp by the end of my shift but that is a thing of the past since switching to these insoles. They provide firm cushioned support without feeling bulky or stiff. In my case they provided immediate relief without the need for a break-in period. I've been using them for over six months, and they feel just as good as the day I started using them even though the literature recommends replacing them every three months or so. I hadn't realized it until writing this review, but I've stopped looking for something better which is both a surprise and a welcome relief.

Not true, save your money
Not that comfortable, doesn’t perform as advertised.

My son likes them.
Purchased these instead of true more expensive brand name ones. I don’t have the others to compare. My son likes those and said he did feel like his vertical was better with them. Unfortunately after about 1/3 - 3/4 of the basketball season the souls have started to come apart in the shoe. Nothing to significant but they will definitely have to be tossed once the season is over.

comfortable support, but.....
I coach youth sports and am on my feet for long hours. My turf shoes came with very minimal insole support, so I ordered these to try out. They seem well made, with nice structural support. They have plenty of cushioning and feel nice. My one complaint is the size/shape (mostly width I guess). I have narrow, low profile feet, which often requires me to tighten the laces on my shoes a bit more than average. The size of this insole raised me foot up significantly (as expected from the cushioning), but kept the shoe from conforming to my foot. The cushioning wears in nicely after some use, but the rigid bottom still pushed on the sides of my shoes. If you have average size/shape feet, I'd say these would likely work great. They didn't work so well for my foot, but they do have comfortable cushioning.

Firm support = comfort
I take these two mile walks every day with our dogs, and several years ago I became intimately acquainted with plantar fasciitis. And I never want to meet that acquaintance again. When I get new shoes, they always have soft foam insoles, and that's about all. But to avoid the evil plantar, you need support as well, especially if you've already had it, as it is hard to ever completely recover from 100 percent. When these Welnover carbon fiber insoles arrived, they were remarkably stiff and supportive, but also with some cushioning. I confess I was somewhat disappointed that they weren't more intricate, with gel and memory foam strategically placed in colorful bubbles here and there, and with a bazillion layers of different materials all compressed into a miraculous and high tech insole. They felt rather plain and stiff. But I decided to give them a try.I pulled out the existing floppy foam insoles that came with my shoes, and replaced them with these new Welnover insoles. I then took the dogs for their usual 2-mile walk, and all the while, my feet felt great. And I did the same routine for an entire week, and my feet feel wonderful. It is not that my feet feel babied and pampered and cushioned; rather, they feel very well supported, and somehow that translates into improved comfort. So it seems that these insoles have struck a balance between cushioning and support, to provide just the right amount of each, at least for my feet.As the rubber on the bottoms of my shoes wear down, as they inevitably always do, I suspect that the support offered by these insoles will become even more critical. But, at the same time, will the cushioning be adequate? We shall see. But, in the meantime, my feet seem to be very content and quite pleased with these insoles.

Impressed but not durable
So I was skeptical but have to say I wore these for 3.5hrs of straight competitive pickleball and my soles, knees and legs felt so great compared to the normal soles. I previously highly recommended but unfortunately they just are not durable..the materials falls apart. I have bought 2 pairs and the first ones did better than the new pair. The new pair after 1 match began wearing and fraying. Very disappointing.

These insoles are very nice.
These insoles are very nice. I got them because I wanted more performance from my water shoes. Some of my Kayak adventures require a good bit of walking. They worked great! I like how I can easily pull them out to clean and dry them. I can wear the shoes all day and walk a long distance without any discomfort.
