PHOOZY for iPhone 5 with No Phone Case - Apollo Thermal Case Protects Against Heat, Drops, Floats in Water. [Silver - Slim Size]

This is truly the coolest gadget that I've used in a long time. I, like many Alaskan's go fat tire biking, paragliding, skiing, ice skating, hiking, an so on in temperatures from 0 degrees and up. The phone always comes along for the ride and more often than not it freezes and is useless until it thaws out. You put your phone in your outermost pocket so you can access it easily, take pictures, calls etc which freezes the battery. It also keeps the sweat away from your precious phone when you exercise in 10 degree temps. Well this is the answer to your prayers when you think your phone just sucks and doesn't work well in the cold. NONE OF THEM DO! I put my iphone 7 with a VERY slim case attached to it in the smaller size Phoozy case and it fit perfectly. Snug but just fine. I started some tunes and put the phoozy with phone in my outermost chest pocket and then biked for around 1.5 hours. My phone had drained a few percentage points from listening to music for 1.5 hours and my other two friends on the ride had dead phones. I'm sold and this thing was worth every penny. I will take it skiing and snowmobiling this weekend in an outer shell pocket to see how it holds up. So far I love this thing. Its the answer to my prayers of having a usable phone while recreating in cold temps. Great product. When in doubt I would recommend that everyone size up and choose the larger case size. It's probably a lot more practical to use. Mine works but its definitely slim. If you are a no case kind of guy/gal then the smaller size is perfect. Hope this helps...

i walk a lot in the mornings and in the winter it is very cold (single digit and teens F). as i retuned from a 1 hr walk my phone died and it had been fully charged when i left the house. i bought this case and am able to walk, confident in the fact that my phone will stay warm enough that the battery won't die. the battery still takes a little bit of a hit so if you need protection from really cold temps (0F or below or longer than an hour or two) this may not do it entirely but it does work nicely for me.

I would technically rate this product as a 3.5 stars if I could. I bought the slim size for my Iphone 6s and it seems to fit snuggly around it with a case, and could easily plug in headphones.. I bought it mainly for being out in the cold snowboarding. PROS: My phone battery didn't die. CONS: You have to take the phone out to do anything - so I would suggest making a playlist you like before you put your phone in the phoozy. Bottom line - it did work - just have to sacrifice some screen time.

I purchased this item for my son. He leaves his phone in his car because he is not allowed to bring phone into work place, but wants it with him when traveling back and forth. He has an 8+ phone but it does not fit in Phoozy case. A disappointment because I hoped this would be the perfect solution for him-allowing compliance while providing safety. Well made! Thx

I use this for when I ski. My phone battery dies very quickly in cold weather and I was using hand warmers to keep battery from draining. The battery drained a little with the Phoozy, but still got me through the day. Glad to not go through hand warmers just for my phone. Will be interested to see how it works in hot weather.

Phone still overheated. Waste of money

I took my Phoozy skiing (as well as night skiing) last week in West Virginia. The ambient temp was -2f and and the windchill was -20f. It DEFINITELY helped keep my iphone working. I had it in my outer windbreaker jacket pocket and it kept the phone operational throughout a full day skiing. The only thing I will say was that it was a little hard to open with two layers of gloves, but other than that, it worked as advertised. My wife was not using a phoozy and her brand new phone 7 lasted a short time before it was just an expensive ice block. I'm glad I had it with me.

Haven’t seen much of difference to battery life in the cold. Also the stitching is starting to come apart near the Velcro closure.

Je trouve le prix nettement trop cher pour 80$ cela demeure un luxe. Cela ne vaut pas la dépense. J’ai opté pour une recharge extra 50$ je vais continuer de l’util’user dans des conditions extrêmes

Needed to keep my iPhone warm when I walk in sub-zero temps. Just putting it in my pocket was not good enough - it just stopped working... This thermal case seems to work well, but is obviously quite large and so you need a deep pocket to put it into.

I bought this product hoping it would keep my iPhone charged during cold weather as advertised , while out snowmobiling. It made absolutely no difference , I wouldn’t recommend it.
