These are fun and pretty! I put some in my daughters hair last night. It was a little awkward because I’m not great with hair, but I managed to get a streak where she wanted. I love the color of the tinsel (ordered pink) against her brunette hair.I do feel like the crochet hook could be just slightly bigger. There is plenty of room to spare in the head, and it’s hard to grab more than a couple strands of hair or tinsel at a time with the tiny hook. With practice I think I’ll get the hang of it though.

Wow! I put these in last Thursday (and have washed my multiple times since) and I still have some in on Tuesday (the color didn’t come off either)! <-the ones I hand tied. The crimp came out on Sunday. Yay! This set comes with everything you need to put these in your hair! Even an instruction card (which even tells you how to take the crimps out!) :)I like that it comes with dark and light colored crimps. I love that it comes with pliers (that work really well for jewelry making, By The Way!). The tinsel comes folded in three places, but it’s not kinked or anything and looks sparklicious in my hair. I also love that it's longer than a lot of other tinsel because my hair is longer than most tinsel.The crochet needle sucks. It really does. Use a 2.0 mm regular crochet needle instead, or use a strand of tinsel to pull hair and tinsel through the crimp. Even a piece of string would work better than this “crocket needle.” The crimps and pliers work fine.I really recommend this set because it’s nice to have everything you need in one place. The tinsel is sparkly and even looks good on my highland cow :)Tip: Cut the top of the plastic sleeve, leave the wire holding the tinsel together tied and just pull them out a little by little like that…or else there’ll be a big mess of tinsel on your counter.Tip2: If you have longer hair, tie the tinsel in at the 1/4th or 1/3rd of the tinsel length. It'll still stay in.

The pink is super pretty, and the kit includes everything you need to install these tinsel strands into your hair. I have deep indigo hair and I was really excited to add some pink tinsel. It's holographic too which is even better. Only problem is.... it doesn't curl like the product photo shows. I exclusively curl my hair, I never wear it straight so this is a deal breaker for me. Now, the word "curl" is not mentioned once in the listing for this item, so I took a chance trusting the photo. They mention a flat iron, and not exceeding a max temp of 365 degrees, but even as close to the max temp as I could get without going over, no curl. So these are a waste for me, but at least now I have more beads to use with my i-tip extensions.

This hair tinsel is a very pretty pink color. I like that this allows you to get a bit of color into your hair without needing to dye your hair. The added sparkle makes a nice effect in your hair or when adding it into other colored extensions. The tinsel is very long and can be trimmed down (I save anything I cut for future use). I really like that this kit comes with everything you need to install the tinsel in your hair. The fact that it comes with full picture instructions for how to put the tinsel in your hair makes this set even better.

For the price ($7.99 atm) this is amazing! It comes with everything you need and a pamphlet with easy-to-follow instructions. I was able to safely curl and style them along with my hair using my flat iron. The instructions warn you about which is the highest temperature to use with the tinsels. I recommend this set!

I will be honest, I bought these for myself. Hairtinsel? Heck yeah! Then when they came I realized I was being impulsive and it would clash with my hair color. No worries though, I put them in my sons girlfriends hair and she absolutely loved them and they hold well.

This Pink Fairy Hair Tinsel is nice. I will be using this in October for cancer awareness and of course for Halloween. I love the color and the sparkle.The pack comes with tinsel. There are 6 individually wrapped packs of tinsel with several 200 strands in each pack. Also included are 2 packs of beads in two colors, a small latch hook, and a pair of pliers. Comes with everything you need to put your own tinsel in your hair. I love that it has the pliers, clasps and tinsel. Once I run out of tinsel all I need is more tinsel and maybe more clasps. The instructions were easy to follow.
