I bought these transfers specifically to use on clothing I wanted to embellish. The first use was for a vintage (1950s) Pendleton 49er’s wool jacket. There was a small stain I wanted to cover up. It worked perfectly! The design stayed in place and was easy to embroider over. I was concerned about using it on the wool as it’s supposed to be dry cleaned. I used warm water on the transfer part only and it came right off! I stretched the fabric and dried it between towels and it turned out great! There is one more stain near the shoulder I’m going to cover up.

So I really like these in terms of the value (better value than sets sold on other sites), the designs themselves, and the ease of use. The reason I took a star off is that even when following the directions precisely some residue is left behind. I embroidered two flowers on a white t shirt and there is a visible/crunchy feeling residue left behind. It is not super noticeable which is why I only took off one star, but even after a few soakings/washings there is residue left and this was unexpected.

Be careful when they arrived I couldn’t figure out what I had. Thee. Print is in the inside and the outside is plain white. I almost threw them away.

They are very small designs. Some I don’t know can be used, at least not by this beginner.. the rainbow and cactus ones are perfect size tho. Overall a good price

Embroidery has been my hobby since I was 12 (am now 75). I was skeptical of this type of transfer, so it took a long time before I decided to give it a go. Wow! I am so impressed, I may not go back to iron on transfers. In response to comments that transfer does not come off, use warm water, cold water will not work.

The designs were cute and clear. However, the price is rather steep considering there’s only one piece of each of the design.
