Good quality, light weight , nice design from Dell. Descent configuration . Overall satisfied.

Bought this laptop in April 2022 from Amazon (PCOnline US). After 9 months of using it, yesterday I tried to open the lid but the left hinge got caught in the case (obviously an engineering defect) and broke. I cannot open the lid now without breaking the screen. PCOnline US tells me to contact Dell. Dell says this is no longer in warranty because Dell shipped the laptop to PCOnline US in January 2022 (so the 1 year warranty is expired, even though i bought the laptop in April 2022 and we're now in Feb 2023). If Dell comes through and honors the warranty I'll be sure to update the rating...

The left hinge broke a little more than a year after I got this laptop, and the right on is also breaking. I have not been able to locate a replacement top for this device. Poor quality hinges that broke with no warning - no snaps or cracks, it just broke upon opening. If you're going to buy it, you might strongly consider the extra warranty protection. I wish I had.

I purchased this in July of 2022 and both hinges have been getting stuck. One side was so bad that it pulled the edge of the screen. Then after I got that repaired, the other one started doing it and the warranty had expired. Also, the system is slow and always freezes. This product is flawed. I'm disappointed at how much it compared to the fact that it has these flaws.

The laptop was initially much slower than I would have expected for a new Dell.Six weeks after I started to use it, the internet lost connection, whereas my other internet/WiFi based devices did not. It also made a crunch noise when I moved the screen. The right side of the frame around the screen had come loose from the frame. It had three little buttons that fit into three holes in the screen. Ultimately, I pressed the frame buttons into their screen holes, but the fix wouldn't hold. The photo shows that I've attached a clip to the screen and frame to hold them together. I can't neither adjust the screen nor close it. I haven't had much success in reaching the sellers. I am .not pleased AT ALL

I ordered this dell Inspiron 15 to replace the one i had , was described with HD screen , hooked it up and the screen quality was poor It looked as if it had some film cover over the screen Was also very bright I have a dell inspiron and the HD is far superior to the dell i just received I return it asap !

Bought this laptop to use for Zoom meetings. First time I used it, I was told that the audio was going in and out. I also had to make some settings changes to get the audio to play through the HDMI connection.I tried making several audio changes but the sound was still going in and out. I ended up switching back to my old laptop.So having a new laptop that did not meet my needs, I decided to return it. This seller charges a 10% restocking fee (that's almost $60) as well as you have to pay the return postage.And when I say "did not meet my needs", I consider the audio issue to be a defective product, so charging me to return a defective product is totally wrong.
