The filament feeds perfectly with no jams, and layer adhesion is solid. I’ve had zero issues with warping or stringing, and the surface finish is clean and professional-looking every time. It’s clear this is a high-quality filament, and it’s become my go-to for any projects that need a bright, eye-catching pink. My favorite silk PLA
Awesome filament. Great price. I love GIANTARM silk PLA. It's got great shine to it, prints perfectly every time, and is so easy to use. Prints as good as any $30+ filament that I've ever used. It prints perfectly using Bambu Lab generic silk PLA profile or a custom profile. I have never had a failed print using any of their filaments. Every spool has come perfectly wound and tangle free. Not brittle at all. I highly recommend it.

Tough to work with
I'm giving this 5 stars because as a filament, it's quality. The spooling is excellent, the materials seem quality and the color is outstanding. Some people may rightfully want to give this filament fewer stars based purely on how much of a pain it is to print with. Without a doubt this and its silver brother are the most frustrating filaments I own - very stringy at most temperatures, poor bed adhesion, high probability of curling - and this is after careful calibration. My failure rate on prints with these two filaments over the month that I've owned them is almost as high as my lifetime printing failure rate without them. The rumors are true: silk PLA is not for weak users. Expect to calibrate and recalibrate several times and expect to have to change those calibrations on a per-print basis for best results.

Fantastic Quality and Stunning Finish!
I absolutely love the **GIANTARM Silk Gold PLA Filament**! It prints beautifully and consistently, giving my models a stunning, glossy finish with a rich golden hue. The silk finish really makes the details pop and adds a touch of elegance to every print. I’ve been using this filament for a variety of projects, from intricate designs to larger prints, and it handles them all flawlessly. The filament feeds smoothly through the extruder, with minimal stringing or issues. I’ve had excellent layer adhesion and haven’t run into any clogging or warping problems. It also has a great balance of strength and flexibility, making it perfect for functional parts and decorative items alike. If you're looking for a high-quality filament that adds a professional, eye-catching touch to your 3D prints, I highly recommend this **Silk Gold PLA**. It’s quickly become one of my go-to filaments for projects that need that extra bit of sparkle and shine!

Great-looking silk gold filament
I was impressed by this filament. The silk gold finish looks amazing, though I did have to reduce my wall speed to 30 mm/s to get the shiny look. Printing with this filament was easy on a Bambu P1S. I appreciate the plastic spool because cardboard ones don't roll as well in the AMS. I printed it at 230C on a PEI plate using 55C bed temperature. It stuck to the print bed well and layers bonded nicely (even to normal pla, as seen in the vase print). I did have some stringing, but it was very minimal after I dried the filament overnight. My prints seem to be durable, though it is slightly brittle if printed with low wall count (which I've found to be the case with all silk filaments). I'll continue using this filament whenever I need a great silk gold look.

Hard to work with
The silver metallic silk filament looks absolutely beautiful when it comes out right, but is very difficult to work with. You have to slow the print way down, lower fan speed and increase nozzle temperature. I’m printing at 235 degrees.Even when you do everything right it’s prone to clogging and is not as strong as typical PLA. Every imperfection is very noticeable on silk PLA. It’s good for certain statues and figurines, but I would not use it for anything that requires any strength at all.Honestly I don’t think I’d buy it again, not because of the brand, but because of how weak all metallic silk PLA tends to be. It’s not beginner friendly.
