The Frames are a hard plastic. When displayed they look like wood. This was a great purchase.

The packaging was very good and the frame arrived intact but my worry was that the glass was going to arrive broken. To my surprise the glass was actually PLEXIGLASS. I was surprised due to the fact that it was advertised as real glass. On the positive side "that's why it didn't break " Overall, it is a nice frame and I would buy it again.
