The scrunchies feel like real silk and are of good quality. Its size doesn’t fit my hair too well, it is a bit loose but not long enough to fold twice. So it often slides off my hair after putting on for 10 minutes. It could work well for thicker hair. Btw, I have average hair volume.

These are almost perfect, good material, tight sewing so no holes and no threads. A little on the large size so good for thick hair. ONLY thing is the elastic doesn't stay very long. I'd say after 2 months of wearing it every day it would be twice its size because it stretched that much. Oh well, nothing lasts forever.

I’m just going to be honest here. I bought these silk scrunches not for the color, but, I needed to be able to put my hair up and I wasn’t going to use my regular stuff. I had Covid in December 2021. I ran a fever of a 104 degrees for days and a loss of oxygen. I noticed a few weeks later that my scalp was extremely sore, but I have always had very very thick curly hair that was down to my waist. I didn’t realize that I was going to lose about 80% of my hair, due to Covid. My hair started growing back and I was told to use silk scrunches. It has worked and I’m not pulling hair out like I did before Covid.

I like that the elastic is the thicker kind. It has a ribbon shape which is better for my hair. I was worried about the quality of the silk, (at first new quality silk feels like cheap satin) but after just a few wears, it feels like I expect a quality silk to feel like. I use these to hold back my hair while sleeping. It holds my hair back securely, but not too tightly. If I pull my wet hair back into a basic bun before bed, I wake up to a head full of relaxed, wavy curls. Love these!

I've been using cotton scrunchies for years, never giving any consideration to an alternative, until now. In comparison, these silk ones are much more gentle on my hair. I gave them 4 stars because I think the elastic could be a bit thicker and softer, but overall they're great. I would recommend.

Just as the title states, I expected this product to be cheap and fairly disappointing, and I'm still pleasantly surprised! I've been using the only one that I haven't lost as an afternoon scrunchy while I do homework, and it still looks clean and the construction is still solid.

I’m trying to treat my hair more gently as I’m getting older (60!), so I got rid of all of the elastic hair ties and bought a few of these silk hairs scrunchies. They are not only easier on my hair, but they come in lovely colors as well. Always a bonus in my book! Easy to wear - don’t have to twist it around and around and around…. like other types of hair ties. They’re soft and look pretty too. I really do feel like they caress my hair while holding it in place, which is the whole point, right?
