Dishonest seller. Stay away.
I use Argan Oil for many years and I know how it smells and tastes. I received olive oil in the bottle. Very disappointed.Dear seller: FYI Argan Oil has light orange color and pleasant nutty aroma. This product has no color or taste. Also, package was unsealed.

What IS this stuff? It’s not argan oil. It smells... chemically? It’s really light and feels thinner than you’d expect from argan oil.Applied to skin and hair as I always have with REAL argan oil. It did not absorb into my hair and left it greasy all day. My poor face reacted to whatever this stuff is and I broke out all over!Stay safe, buy in a beauty salon.

making it USELESS.
Bottle doesn't say cold-pressed or unrefined. Refining and deodorizing Argan Oil kills all its nutrients, making it USELESS.

I am doubtful about the quality???
This is my second time buying this product and it seems different this time. There is absolutely NO smell. No one hint of any aroma whatsoever! This raises some questions. My first bottle had a nutty scent. The color is a light yellow color and clear however there is NO sediment! Almost looks like cooking oil.The feel is very slimy and leaves an oily sheen on my hand.Bottle is an amber color but label does not say “100%”.I not totally convinced this is pure argan oil.I will not buy this again.I just tried to email “Kate Blanc Cosmetics”. There is no way to email them!!! They make it impossible for you to question them about their product. Totally shady!!

Buy it all
I have sensitive skin. Oily forehead, live in a hot climate, and am of Dutch and Native American descent, early 30’s. I’m a product person. I like to use a moisturizer, good makeup, face wash, masks etc. but I have been trying to cut back. This and African black soap is all I use now. (And a good sunscreen). I use it on my face, décolleté, shoulders, and chest. The smell is light and fades very quickly, it isn’t oily at all, doesn’t interfere with my makeup, and even when the humidity is above 80% it doesn’t sweat out like some things I’ve tried. Before I bought this I was reading the reviews and someone said they had been getting compliments. I thought that was over the top as a sell. But I’m writing this tonight because at the grocery store earlier 2 teenagers had a whole conversation about how great my skin is. I almost fell over. And you know what? The last few months I have had several people compliment me or say things about how young I look. Strangers, not people I know. I’ve been getting carded. Carded. A clerk double checked my ID at a store when I was getting groceries with my children because I was getting wine.Bottom line is this is great and you need it.

Causes Acne!! Is this real argan oil?
I have been using this product since July. I had originally been using Trader Joe’s Argan Oil for more than a year, and I absolutely loved it. It moisturized my face well, didn’t leave a residue, and kept my pores’ sebum production in control. Once I ran out of my Trader Joe’s stuff, I ordered this, thinking that since it’s marketed as 100% pure Argan oil, it would have the same benefits. 6 years ago, I completed a round of Accutane, and for 6 straight years, I never had any concerning acne breakouts (maybe a random pimple every month, nothing compared to the cystic acne I endured through high school). For the last several months, I have had considerable acne breakouts. I thought that maybe it was because of added stress of grad school or something like that, but I’m now thinking that this product, the ONLY one that I use daily (I wear makeup maybe once a month), is causing these breakouts. I went through intense medication to clear my skin only to have it ruined by acne and scarring caused by this product. Be careful if you are using it on your face, especially since other reviewers are also questioning the legitimacy of this oil.

This oil works well for me, but it may work differently for your skin type
I had been using jojoba oil on my face, and recently found out through my research that jojoba oil was better for younger skin than older skin.So much of this is subjective and depends a lot on the skin of the individual. This specific oils seems to be pure, and a very good oil, but I still use both jojoba and this Argan oil. Argan oil is supposed to have a lot of anti-aging properties, but so may other oils claim the same. I am 71 years old, and so far, don't have much in wrinkles. I have, for the most part, resorted to naturally oils to maintain the lack of wrinkles. The benefits of Argan oil is that it is rich in antioxidants (Vitamin E), essential fatty acids, and triterpenoids, which aid in tissue healing (scars) and contain anti-inflammatory, sun-protective, and disinfectant properties. Argan oil battles signs of aging and loss of elasticity, and helps to keep the skin moisturized and soft. Since Argan oil is high in oleic acid, you may want to avoid it if you have acne prone skin.Let's face it - we are all looking for the magical serum to avoid aging. This oil is one of the good ones, but it also depends on your age and your skin type as to how well it will work for you. Personally, I like it and it has worked well for me.
