Update:Not long after this post I received an entire brand new gym keg with sleeve in the mail. Absolutely updated to five stars for that. Haven’t been using the sleeve as much but still love the product.My husband was putting my original in the fridge and dropped it and it exploded. The bottom of the jug popped off BUT I believe that may have been a fluke because it’s sturdy and seems well made. Just wanted to give all aspects of my experience but still it’s a five from me. Had my brand new bottle waiting on me when that happened and have had no further issues.Also I drive with this in my car and it dumps over all the time with NO leakage!Absolutely love the product helping me drink enough water and get my supplements in over the course of the day. Great size seems to be good quality love the handle. However I’m super bummed I’ve only used this three times since I got it Wednesday and the sleeve has already started falling apart and I’ve only put it on the first day, just refilled the second day, then third day I removed and washed and when I put it back on it started shredding apart. Probably only thing holding this back from a 5 star review.

I absolutely love my “Gym Keg”! Easy to fill - easy to clean - I love the sleeve around the bottle - and I know there are many more out there like me - but I hate getting wet hands from my drink or drips on my desk - no more of that!!! I also have improved my water gains using it! I’m drinking 2 a day! The carry handle makes it easy to tote with you - wish I could give it a 10 star review.

UPDATED: I’ve been using this for not even a month and the top of the sleeve is completely coming apart. I use this regularly so pretty disappointing. I’ll be taking the sleeve off and just using the bottle. The whole reason I got this was for the camo sleeve. Bottle is nice but sleeve is pretty disappointing.This is my new favorite water bottle. The carrying handle is terrific! I seriously love everything about this water bottle. I hand wash it every other day, it doesn’t go in the dishwasher. I’m okay with that. Just an amazing water bottle.

Update #2: well it looks like the bottle I've received was in fact defective. The replacement they sent out came in very quickly and this one works as it should. Air tight seal, the cap has rubber fittings all around and is absolutely leak free no matter how hard I shake it. This is the bottle I expected it to be initially and it really lives up to the name... It's a keg! I usually have to refill my 42oz bottles a few times a day, this definitely keeps me from doing it. The sleeve also helps with condensation if you chose to put I've cubes, which I do. It doesn't keep it cold for 24 hrs but its also not insulated so I didn't expect it to. Very light, great product, even better customer service!Update: Shortly after this review I got a follow up email from the Gym Keg Team and I was reassured that this is most likely a damaged unit. Greg went above and beyond to take care of the issue and even offered to send out a replacement. The level of engagement and accountability is very refreshing to see. Will update again from i receive the new bottle, but seeing a company standing behind it's product deserves some credit.I really liked the look of this bottle and wanted to like it however the bottle came deformed, which looked to be caused by vaccum/cabin pressure. It bent back into shape once I opened it and pushed from the inside, but it left a permanent ding on the bottle (pictured).Now the imperfection alone wouldn't be a deal breaker since I can just dress it up in the sleeve but the bottle leaks aggressively! It's a nice, lightweight bottle and looks good but I would not trust it in my car and certainly not in a gym bag.The sleeve is really nice quality, a couple loose stitches but overall a nice snug fit that's easy to take on and off. I could live with all the issues except for the massive leak. I really wanted to like it.

Jug is great, cover seems nice, strap is solid. The reason for the low review is the horrible quality control on the lid. It had rough spots all over. It bothers me the moment I take a drink, scratching my lips all the way around. I am going to take a dremel to is and fix the issue but that is not a step you should have to take on what is advertised as a premium product.EDIT/UPDATE - The vendor shipped me two lids to make up for my issues. The lids did not have the sharp edges and immediately made the jug 100x better. Updated to 5 stars as it is now exactly what I needed.

I LOVE the GymKeg. I was hesitant to buy because I don’t want to be “that person” carrying around a giant jug everywhere I go, but I ended up getting it. It arrived SO QUICK and the packaging was very professional. It came in a cute box with instructions and all that jazz. As for the water bottle itself, it is the perfect size. It holds 2L, however I do not feel awkward carrying it around. I get tons of compliments on it and I feel so much better and more energy when I drink the entire water bottle in 1 day. The cover over the water bottle is soft and durable and the design is literally perfect. It’s not cheaply made at all. I’m a avid water bottle collector and this beats everything I’ve ever owned. Whether you are a gym bunny or just someone that wants to increase your water intake, BUY THIS. It’s worth every penny. Can’t wait for more colors to come out!!

I absolutely looovvvveeee this! I am trying to up my water intake, and I was tired of refilling my 16 oz thermos cup constantly. Looked over a bunch of water jugs, read reviews and decided after about a few days of shopping to pick this one. I couldn’t be happier about it. Jug itself is a type of plastic which I’m fine with. Don’t really need anything “insulated” since the filling hole is big enough to add ice. The cover is nice and snug on the bottle and just looks amazing. It has a handle and a strap for either carrying options. I picked the stealth Black one as my preferred color. Will update later down the line if any issues arise through usage. First impressions are this is a major bang for your buck!

This bottle is so good that I bought a second. The 2.2L capacity saves a lot of time on refilling over the course of the day and the design is very ergonomic. However, the weak point of the design is definitely the hinge of the lid. I've been careful with it so far but the bottle rolled off a table once and landed on the lid whilst full: game over. I still have a spare but if the design team are reading, please reinforce that hinge with a metal rod or something. The bottle is otherwise very sturdy.Edit: 5/5 Just received a pair of spare lids in the post. Doesn't get better than that - cheers.

I’ve used other water bottles before but this one is so much more sturdy than any I’ve used. It can hold 2.2 litres of cold liquid. The outer sleeve keeps the water cooler for longer which is great when you’re hot.When washing this don’t use water hotter than 30 degrees or you’ll crack the plastic. It’s BPA certified and the handle makes it easy to hold for filling up and drinking from. It also has a fibre handle at the top for carrying the bottle around. I’ve found it doesn’t leak and the cap feels solid when on. It also has a nice raised hole for drinking from. Would definitely recommend as an all round water bottle.

Love the design. But 2 stars as the water has a weird taste after a few hours. I have cleaned the bottle multiple times but this taste keeps coming back. Please let me know if anyone has had this problem and solved it

This product probably could of been found on the likes of eBay a little cheaper but because it is a branded product it is a quality product judged by the bottle seal and fabric jacket outlining. Carrying the bottle isn't a problem based on the fact it has a carry strap, handle and the cap seal is robust. I can't tell you how many times this has gone flying in my foot well of my van passenger seat and not leaked anywhere. The only down side is it doesn't really have a space to fit in terms of a cup holder. I usually wedge it between my passenger seat and my passenger door. Every time you take a drink it sounds like you're a tweeting bird which is due to the air hole located above the lid seal which is always good for comical value and practising your bird calling techniques. With an overall 2.2 litre capacity you won't go thirsty tbh I drink alot in terms of fluid usually range on 3-4litres per day so this is iddeal for me. Overall great for the avid gym goer its just finding somewhere to put it tb

I um-ed and ah-ed over many brands of bottle but when I came to this version, I bought it straight away. It comes in a very sturdy box. I have the urban version. At the time of writing this I have only had this for two days. Managed to easily get through a keg and a half of water on each day. It's nice and easy to drink from with the lid positioned in the right place whether you are using your right or left hand. The cap on the lid is probably going to be the weakest point over time and I think I will have to be aware not to be too rough with it. The plastic bottle seems to be quite sturdy but I have never had one of these bottles so I have nothing to compare it to. It's not too heavy, even when full. At the moment I can't vouch for the effectiveness of the cover for keeping the water cool as it is too early to tell. I didn't buy this to take to the gym but to ensure I have sufficient water in my system whether at home, at work or on the move. I am very pleased with my purchase.

The good: superb design, feels well made, the lid tightens just to the point where the hole is perfect to drink from, the outer coating thing is a nice touch. It's just generally aesthetically pleasing... I've had no issues with taste like some have mentioned - just wash it out before you use it (which you should do with ALL food and drink containers before use).The bad: I dropped my first one, full, from a height of about 3ft onto grass (which was on hardish ground due to the hot weather) and it split very easily. I can't help wondering if the plastic is a little too brittle. That said, it was completely full so it's holding like 2kg+ of water - which is quite an impact.To the sellers' credit, they didn't hesitate in replacing it for me when I sent an explanation with a pic. I'll be more cautious with this one - absolutely A1 customer service and I won't hesitate to recommend them to my friends and colleagues.

It’s brilliant.I knew I wasn’t drinking enough for a while so decided to get a big bottle to keep me on track. This fits the bill perfectly for me.I fill it up the night before work, pop it on the fridge and I’ve got cold water for a few hours in the office.The nozzle is a great idea. A couple of friends have got similar bottles and get water all over themselves when they drink from the larger spout.Very happy and would definitely recommend it

Keeps your liquids nice and cool all day!I just got mine a few hours ago and it was packaged nicely, also didn’t have that odd smell most new bottles have, so I just instantly put my juice and water in and went on my merry way. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.Only con is there isn’t enough colour selection for the time being, but I’m more than sure that will change soon!Edit: so after having this for 24 hours. The lid broke. It’s quite flimsy. I dropped the bottle onto my passenger seat from the sitting position from the drivers seat, the lid broke and split its contents. I’ve contacted customer service via Facebook and they was quick to respond, they said they would send a replacement. But I’ve had to chase this up. Just got in from s long days work. The bottles lid popped off in my bag and soaked it and my bed.Recommend to the company to redesign the lid flap.

I've had this bottle over 6 months and by all accounts, after what I have put this through, I am surprised that it is not broken! It is so sturdy.Working in an office, I wanted a bottle that was un-offensive and this hits the mark. It's neoprene sleeve not only makes it look executive and suave, but has protected it from many a drop down the stairs.Good size, (2.2 litres) and is definitely making me drink more at work.Good seal around the lid, so am happy to throw into my bag with my laptop but not so stiff that it can't be opened!Overall look and feel is one of quality and I would recommend to anyone for gym, work, car anything.

Needed a bigger bottle to ensure I would reach my daily water intake. This bottle was perfect for that and the design stood out from the competition. The bottle is well made, feels sturdy enough to last a while. I agree with previous comments in regards to the lid and could ideally be strengthened. Due to the previous comments I have been extra careful in this area.The reason for 3 stars is the two bottles I have ordered seem defective. When drinking from the cap both bottles emit a whistling sound from the air hole, I haven't seen anyone else mention this, maybe I recieved a bad batch? However as you can imagine drinking this with people around can be somewhat embarrassing as it is definitely loud enough to turn heads. I recieved a refund due to this but I am hesitant or reordering in case I come across the same problem.Replacement lids would be a good option if it was available.I do recommend it maybe others are more fortunate than myself to not have this issue.

Bottle is far better than the other 1.8-2.2l bottles which all seem to be the same but with different branding. The plastic in this is much better and the bag really completes the product.Only downside is the slight sharp seem behind the handle that can be uncomfortable to the knuckles when holding, but it’s not as bad as my previous 2.2l jug.

You’d think that in 2019 you could buy a giant water bottle that’d go in a dishwasher; maybe you can, but this isn’t it. Worse still, leaving hot water in this for a few minutes to make sure it was clean disfigured the bottom; the plastic must be pretty soft. Still works but it doesn’t sit flat. Glad I spotted the warning about the dishwasher before putting it in or I’d have a blob of melted plastic for a water bottle.The strap & collar doesn’t detach so if you don’t need it you’ll have to cut it off. It’s not cheap, so for the money I’d expect a bit better.That said, the volume and physical design are great. It has rolled about in the car a few times when full (accidentally) and no leaks yet, which is excellent. The insulated jacket helps keep your water relatively cool too; nice touch.

Currently, this is what I like about it:-It does everything it is supposed to do and looks identical to the pictures.-Can store plenty of water which will last through the entirety of a grueling gym session.-No leaks so far, aslong as the lid is secure.-The durability of it is good and should last quite a while.However some downsides would be that:- The fabric isn't waterproof and soaks up any liquid that gets onto it.- The fabric an pottentially stain if juice or anything else is spilled onto it.- The plastic container is easily dented if dropped on a hard floor.- The price is quite high in my opinion, for what you get.

The bottle arrived on time, in a sturdy and aesthetically pleasing box. I had read a few comments about a funny taste; however, I washed mine out with soapy water before use and the water tastes just fine. I just used it throughout a 6 hour shift and the water straight from the tap stayed cold all day thanks to the funky insulated sleeve that came with the bottle.Because of the rather large opening in the bottle that the lid screws onto, I am able to fit full slices of fruit into the bottle for infused water all day long.This bottle is amazing and even works well as a conversation starter!! I was a bit sceptical of the price and durability at first but nearly as soon as it arrived I ordered a second for my girlfriend.Even though The Gym Keg does seem a little expensive at first, I found that I have saved over £10 on drinks whilst at college and work thanks to using it. It is also very well designed and a great quality product, I wouldn’t be surprised if it cost double the amount it does!!

I take this to work with me to encourage more water intake.. I can tell you now it works a treat and isn't easy to miss with the size of it. Might as well do your weight lifting with it before you start drinking it! Fab bottle! Love the design and the insulation is good on keeping it colder for long periods! Only thing I will say that is annoying about it. It whistles at you when you drink it. Well mine does anyway. Suppose I get use to it, not going to complain with it doing its job! Great buy!
