I had been looking at remote control cars for my nephew who is almost 5. Many of them were for ages 8+ but my nephew is advanced so thought he'd do ok. It wasn't until after I purchased and tried this one, that I realized it is for ages 14+. Yikes. I still plan to give it to him but I think I'll rig something so he can't press the lever all the way down because it's very sensitive and if course he'll need major supervision while paying with it. I tried the car out myself and it's really fun. It goes very fast. The tires seems pretty durable as it climbed over small lifts in the pavement and did fine in lose dirt. The car itself feels a tad flimsy but looks really sharp. It's light weight. The turning radius isn't great but with practice you learn to slow down while turning. I smashed it against many things by accident and it hasn't fallen apart. It comes with batteries for the remote control. And it comes with two sets of rechargeable batteries for the car. I charged them both up right when I got it so they'd be ready. I only played with the car for about 20 minutes but the one set of batteries lasted. I hope my nephew didn't destroy this car because these toys aren't cheap.

Wow is this car fast. We have yet been able to go to an open parking lot or field but we are in training. The steering is super tight and when going fast in the back yard it makes quick turns or skid steps. My almost 9 yr old son loves it. He didn’t want to go out because of mosquitos so he stood at the back door and drove it around the back yard. Good range too. The last pic is important as I wanted to show the bottom is straight and slick so even un taller grass or artificial turf it moves well and doesn’t drag on the undercarriage. Struts are up inside and out of the way of objects. This is a great find in the mid tier price point and I’m so glad we found it. Came with 2 batteries so we have plenty of play time. Going to set up an obstacle course and time challenge my son because just flat out racing you get too quick to the end of the yard before crashing into the fence. Wish me luck.

Dylan's Review:I got this super cool - Yezi All Terrain RC Car - for my 11th birthday in November of 2020. It came with two batteries, a handheld remote control, and an RC car. I like how well it goes off-road and seems waterproof. I have taken my RC car on hiking trails, I have driven it through the forest and parking lots. This RC car rarely gets stuck and goes over just about anything. My friends like driving it as much as I do. I got this car after my brother got one for his birthday. We love racing them together and driving them off-road thru the woods. It seems as if the car runs for half an hour, to an hour, on a full charge, depending on how hard I drive it. Overall, this car has held up great, and my brother and I rate it at 5 five stars! I picked this car because it looks cool with the graphics on the outside, like a real off-road racecar. I like running the car over jumps and making it do wheelies and donuts in the dirt. I have taken my RC car on hiking trails and have driven it through the woods on trails. My brother has the same Yezi RC Car, and we like racing them together and driving them off-road at the park and hiking trails. Overall, this car has worked great, and I can change the batteries & charge them myself. This is a tough little car. So far, it has held up to the beating that my three boys and I have doled out. It is fast little car too and the four wheel drive allows it to go just about anywhere and everywhere.The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it doesn’t alway like to go in reverse. Sometimes I have to fiddle with the trigger on the remote to get it going in reverse.Overall, it is a really fun RC car. I would recommend it.

We ordered this for our son for his 10th birthday as he loves anything RC and specifically asked for a big RC truck that could handle our large, hilly and wild back yard. When it arrived, it was smaller than I had expected, but felt nice and heavy, as in good quality heavy. This thing is fast, handles, great, goes up anything and in fact, he can do loops inside the tube slide at the park next door- as in he drives it in a corkscrew, UP the inside of the tube slide! Seriously awesome. Comes with extra battery pack which is great and they are very good batteries and last about 25 minutes per charge. He is absolutely thrilled with it (has had many RC toys, helicopters and small drones and this is his fave), and we couldn't be happier. Spend a little extra and get this one - it will pay dividends in quality, run time and especially performance.

I rarely write reviews, but cleaning my son's room I was reminded of a few items that had great promise but that didn't last. Sadly, these RC cars are on the list. We bought two so we could play together. Our friends had just done the same and we tried them out at their place. By the time ours arrived, one of theirs had broken but they liked it so much they got another. One of ours broke within the first two days and then the 2nd one went within about two weeks. The same happened for our friends. It was the beginning of the pandemic and I let it go. We had so much fun with these cars while they lasted. They were fast and easy to maneuver, but sadly they didn't last more than a few weeks. I cannot recommend them.

I would send this back but my dogs destroyed it. I picked this particular one due to the speed it was advertised, even at half that speed my small dogs shouldn’t have been able to catch it but first use my DOG IN A WHEELCHAIR was able to catch it and chewed up the body. It also won’t go straight no matter how I set the steering on the remote so it does require a lot of steering to keep it in a straight line. It’s still a fun little car but I wish I could return it and buy a faster car but I basically just flushed the purchase price down the drain.

Super fast and Super fun, the battery however drains within 5 to 10 minutes...
